Divine Patience

Hallelujah to the Most High for His unwavering mercies and protection upon our lives.

Welcome to the month of "Divine Patience".
Hebrews 10:36-37(KJV)
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

If you are like me, at times, we ask God the "why " questions when we expect our prayers to have manifested. But the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 10:13b (nkjv)
but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

Patience is crucial to our walk with God. The father of faith, Abraham, was able to walk with God because of his Patience and , even our Lord Jesus Christ demonstrated a lot of patience before He received the "name above all name" title.

Jesus admonished His followers even in the midst of persecution to let patience have its way. Luke 21:19
By your patience possess your souls.

Know this about patience:

    •    Patience is not the ability to wait but the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting.
    •    You can’t rush something you want to last forever.
    •    Just because it’s not happening right now, doesn’t mean it never will.
    •    Be careful about rushing God’s timing. You never know who or what He is protecting you or saving you from
    •    Don’t count the days make the days count.

Patience is one of the fruits of the Spirit that is why you see many people without patience these days.

You need patience when things aren’t going your way. You need patience when that boss gets on your last nerve. You need patience when you’re running late to work and the driver in front of you is driving like a grandma and you just want to scream at them in anger.

I pray that the Lord will count us worthy of this precious fruit of the spirit (Galatians 5:22 -23 niv ....but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law) in Jesus name.

Remain fruitful and multiplying
